I had ordered a prebuilt IBUYPOWER PC and it shipped from NJ to me down here in miami, the specs were ok but the display it wouldn’t come on. After I took it to Rob he was not only able to fix the display ports but he upgraded the parts as requested by increasing the GPU from a 3060 to a 3070 and 16gb RAM to a 32gb RAM WiFi antennas along with a 1tb Samsung 990 EVO pro SSD and more power. I had a 27” Mac 2017 that Apple said would cost me about 1k to bring back to life and no data saved. The hard drive failed. Robert told me to bring it to him. Twice I have taken a computer (an Apple desktop and Dell laptop)to Rob after months (Years with an apple)of frustrations, and trying to fix it ourselves by watching videos and calling Apple and Dell IT. I'm not one to trust my work equipment to many companies dedicated to repairing and modifying both PCs and Laptops, whether Microsoft or Apple, but these guys at Rec IT are doing a great job, enough to make your old and obsolete computer start. to work like new, willing to collaborate and help the client in a respectful and uncomplicated manner, without a doubt it is a safe space and 100% recommended if, like me, you do not trust your PC or Tablet to just anyone...I am sure that Like me, you will leave your offices satisfied and with your equipment like NEW!!!💯👍

REC IT is the best. I went in because my wife soiled a full cup of coffee on her new MBAir. Rob was quick and responsible to diagnose and give me an estimate. He was honest and up front with noticing and expectations. Part of the laptop could not be salvaged and he helped find a solution and adjusted the repair cost accordingly.

I contacted Robert because I wanted him to put a new battery in my 2017 Macbook Pro. He quoted me a price and I sent my mac in. Once received he called me and explained that in these older machines because they have intel processors they can run a little hot and this may cause my machine to drain quicker that normal unlike my 2022 Macbook Air that is super efficient. He also explained that because my Mac has such a low battery count and upon running some initial test he saw nothing wrong with the battery in my machine and he did not want to set any false expectation and explained that a new battery would run only give me a 15-20% boost and would not recommend swapping out the battery going through with the expense. He was super HONEST which is rare these days!!! Someone else would have taken the money and swapped out the battery and called it a day. I recommend this place to anyone looking to upgrade or have your Mac or Imac serviced.

Rob is awesome. I found him through IG by chance. My iMac is from 2010 and no longer support by Apple. The machine still look great and works but was running like a DOG itnwas horrible. It's real Apples way to force people to buy new products. In comes RECIT and Rob the owner is a one man show. He is a specialist in help Mac owners to upgrade machines abandoned by Apple. $250 He got my machine running almost like by installing a new drive and software. I didnt even know this was possible. If you got an old Mac thats in good shape and want to extend the life, for $250 it worth every penny, just look at the prices of a new Mac, and its a NO BRAINER. Rob gives a 1 year warranty with his work. If you're Miami go see him at least, he is a person who truly enjoys his work and delivers good quality at a good price.
I have a 2011 iMac that had several upgrades done on it, and Robert did a great job and it was ready the next day. He answered all my questions and was honest and only suggested what was needed to get it running like new or better. He didn’t try to upsell me on hardware/software items that I really didn’t need but would put extra money in his pocket. If your Mac desktop or laptop needs some TLC, then go see Robert to get it running like new again.

My HP was so slow I was thinking about getting a new laptop. I saw a reel on IG and decided to take a chance. I’m so glad I did! Professional response from the initial online inquiry to completion of the service. I appreciate the detailed explanation (tech for non-tech people) provided. The fee was reasonable. Amazing! When Apple says “get rid of it,” take it to Rob! I brought my 2013 iMac to him and he updated the operating system to 2023 and put in a 1TB hard drive!
