This lab is nothing but a 5 Stars, and if I could I would it give it 6. About 2 months ago my MacBook Pro M2 Max died while traveling and the first shop I called was Recit in Miami. Robert was right away super patient and took the time to explain a few things...However, when I got back to Miami it was a Sunday and, as you can imagine, I just wanted to get my laptop fixed so I took it to another shop which suggested, the day after, to send it to another more experienced shop. Of course I turned to Reddit which highly recommended Rossmann group in Austin, TX. So I sent it to them just to hear 10 days later that my laptop was unrepairable and that the previous guy had sent 20V straight to my CPU causing it to die. Anyway, when I got my laptop back, it surprisingly turned on for an hour or so which proved that Rossmann's diagnosis was totally false. With a friend CPU the Macbook Pro wouldn't have turned back on. So I finally went to Rob, explained everything that happened and told him he was my last hope. Any other shop would have properly refused to look at it after 2 other technicians failed to fix it. However, Robert was very honest and, without promising anything, accepted the challenge. 5 days later I got the best news ever! He had found the reason why the Mac wouldn't turn on. All 4 USB-C ports needed to be replaced plus few more components and he was right. Not even 2 weeks later, my MacBook Pro was fully working and it's been working since then. I cannot thank Robert enough for fixing this laptop and help me save 3 years of data which I hadn't backup. Thanks Robert, you are the best!
